This Thanksgiving season, our community has another meaningful reason to come together in gratitude and generosity. The Clallam County Turkey Trot is bringing neighbors, families, and runners of all levels together for a shared purpose: supporting local food banks across the county.

While final details are still being confirmed, we are grateful to be among the organizations that may benefit from this inspiring event. Proceeds from the Turkey Trot are expected to be shared among three local food banks, helping to provide essential meals and resources to individuals and families during a time when support is needed most.

Events like this are a powerful reminder of what makes our community special. Whether participants choose to run, walk, or simply cheer from the sidelines, every step taken helps raise awareness about food insecurity and the importance of accessible, nutritious food for all.

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to the organizers, volunteers, and participants of the Turkey Trot for thinking of local food banks during the holiday season. Their efforts reflect the true spirit of Thanksgiving. Coming together to support one another and ensure no one in our community goes without.

As more details become available, including how funds will be distributed, we will be sure to share updates. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to consider participating in or supporting the Turkey Trot as a way to give back this holiday season.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Stay tuned for more information and thank you for being part of a community that cares.
